Having a hair consultation is a very important part of any hair care routine, especially when it comes to deciding on a new hairstyle or color change, and should be done before you begin any type of hair service.

We encourage all new color clients to book a complimentary consultation.

Single Process

A single process refers to any color service that is done in one step. This can be using a permanent color that lifts and deposits, a glaze, highlights/lowlights without toning, or a creative color service with only one process.

Gloss or Tone

$40 - $75

Tone, in hair coloring, is the term used to describe a specific color—“golden” blonde, “coppery” red, “ash” brown. Colors are divided into warm tones and cool tones

Partial Highlight or Balayage

Typically face-framing or top layer lightening to add the illusion of volume and body.

Full Highlight or Balayage

Highlighting hair means isolating select strands in the hair and treating them with a hair color or lightener to make them lighter than their base/natural color. Highlights can add dimension by providing new pops of contrast with the rest of the hair. Techniques may vary. We specialize in free hand balayage painting, foilayage (free hand painting placed in a foil for extra bright blonde) and “teasy-lights” (backcombing technique for maximum coverage and soft blended lines).

Fantasy Haircolor

Magical and dreamy colors of the unnatural variety (i.e. pink, purple, blue, etc). Please consult with your stylist to determine if your hair needs to be highlighted prior to diving into fantasy color. These “fashion colors” may appear less vibrant on virgin, unbleached hair.

Double Process Root Re-touch

A double-process color refers to anytime two color services are done in one visit. Generally this is done by doing the first color service, washing and drying the hair, then doing the second color. This can include lightening the hair then applying a toner, or doing a permanent color followed by a glaze.
